About us
Our mission is to promote the social, economic, and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex individuals, couples, and families; people affected by HIV/AIDS; people of color; people of low economic status; and women. We do this by urging elected official to enact and support legislation impacting this goal.

As noted in many of our materials, we have had the pleasure of generating in excess of 1.5 million letters and e-mails just since the year 2000. To do this, we are now generating over 350,000 letters and e-mails annually. But our goal is to do better—in fact, we aim to double this output as quickly as we can.
